Meet Daronne (Owner/Lead Trainer)

My name is Daronne Russell. I have been a personal trainer for over 5 years. I specialize in weight loss, strength training, and athletic training. I provide training services to individuals who want to physically become the best version of themselves. Your age and weight do not matter to me; if you are ready and willing to put in the hard work, I am your trainer. Let's achieve your goals together!


I am a Maryland native with an athletic background. I played my first professional football season overseas in 2020, but unfortunately, that was cut short due to covid. When I am not training, I spend time focusing on my mental health, family, and coaching my wrestling team in the winter at Kennedy High School.


In 2018, I graduated with my bachelor's in psychology. In 2023, I received my master's in mental health counseling to become a licensed mental health counselor in Maryland. Once I am fully licensed, I will be able to provide therapeutic services.


The goal is to be able to provide both mental and physical health services. I want to combine the two worlds of mental health and exercise and use fitness as a form of treatment for clients.


Most trainers have before and after pictures of their clients to prove their results. I decided to take a different route and let my clients do the talking for me! Read some of the reviews below!

Hi, My name is Joshua Mendoza a certified personal trainer born in DC, and raised in Maryland. I am committed to guiding individuals on their fitness journeys and breaking through any obstacles or barriers one may have. As someone of various sports backgrounds, I'm passionate about empowering my clients to discover their capabilities and build a lasting foundation for a vibrant, fulfilling life. I believe in creating a supportive and motivating environment where clients can achieve their unique goals, without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. My routines are focused  in strength training, HIIT, functional fitness, weight loss, sports conditioning, and much more. The customized programs I enjoy to create, focus on Key Benefits; as  building lean muscle, improving endurance, enhancing overall well-being. My passion for fitness began at a young age when I was motivated in helping my late uncle, a Marine Vet, who was severely disabled. As a Marine Vet, he instilled into to me the “Semper Fi” Motto; which translates to unwavering loyalty and commitment to a duty, as well as a refusal to accept defeat.
